I posted this song some time ago on H.E.A.D.B.O.Y. (He's Evil And Diabolical, But Our flavor of Yogurt), a Tom Riddle fan thread on Fiction Alley.  The similarities are just too good.  Look at the parts I bolded - that's everything I saw that especially related.  You can change "It wasn't easy for me/To be a scared white boy/In a black neighborhood" to a young wizard in a Muggle orphanage.

Oh, that is a thought. You would have to apply different lines of the verses, though...like the ones about how important he was to Draco, etc.

And aren't we all obsesed with Cassie's Draco? Isn't he the reason why he's so popular now in fandom?

By the way, do you keep up with her journal? Did you see the ten quotes out of the next part of Draco Veritas coming up? I swear, I think she's going to kill him. I really do. There's been so many psuedo-deaths so far, where they come back in all these strange ways, and I think she's too good, too realistic, to do it again at the very end. I think she has the guts and realism to really kill him off at the end.
