Finally, the Posting of Plew
Nov. 1st, 2004 06:35 pmI just posted Put a Light in the Window on fanfiction.net, and am submitting it to Fiction Alley as I type this.
I came home today to find the lovely June has so kindly emailed back my story. Overjoyed, I happily squee-ed with Caitlin, cut it up into the prearranged three chapters, and sent it to fanfiction.net. The story is now here.
The first reviewer managed to post her review even before I could get a link to the story - have no idea how she managed it. But I got a link to the story through her review, and slowly the other chapters became visible and more reliable. Unfortunately, the story still hasn't appeared on my profile.
There were some things I jotted down, at the top margins of the notebook pages, as I wrote the story. Here they are:
- Okay. If prefects get giant pools with all kinds of erotic bubble jets, I think they get study rooms.
- And...I have really no idea what the hell this is.
- Where is Harry in all of this? I really have no idea. Harry ran away from me, and I seriously have no idea whether he is alive or dead. I believe he is frightened away after what I did to his mother.
- Percy, on the other hand, is almost certainly dead.
I didn't want to kill off Narcissa. I really didn't, I like Narcissa. But, if Lucius was going to die, then it was only fair to realism and all that that Narcissa dies too.
All for now.
Also unfortunately, Fiction Alley doesn't allow chapters shorter than five hundred words, and my middle chapter was one hundred and ninety-eight. So I'm going to combine it with the first to put it up there. Ah, woe.
