Rest of the epistle replies
Jan. 23rd, 2005 10:38 pmActually got back into writing nightmare-story. Got a good bit done. Hope to update on the boards tonight.
I started posting the replies to my letter to my characters, but was interrupted first by the elljay blackout, then the LOTR frenzy.
Dear Lavinia,
Well, I’m glad to see you finally acknowledge your neglect. I could have you sued, you know. BUNG. Bureau of Undignified Neglected…Guano-treated characters. So touch it up a notch, all right? And you better not forget to plan a [censoredforsecrecypurposes] for me, too.
I don’t know what great, awful secret you and Rose have, but for Merlin’s sake, Lavinia, leave her alone. I thought you would restrict your abuse to Lily, your main character.
Love,
David
Dear Lavinia,
I was hoping you would leave me at peace while you had your fun manipulating your beloved Gryffindors. Yes, bitch, I know what I have to do. Don’t bother writing me until you want to call me on the scene again. I suppose you can find out enough about me from my “caretaker,” as you said (oh, and great love, selling me to a ridiculous, mad bint who is forever running around, muttering about fabric…though she does supply me with all the ingredients I need, and chocolate – but I hope you’re enjoying her counterpart of me).
There is no hope or comfort. I saw what you have planned for me at the end – you’ll ruin it like everything else.
Love,
Severus
Ms. Lavender,
I still maintain my position of distance until I see definite signs of a willingness to be just on your part.
Sincerely,
James Potter
Dearest Lavinia,
We get along great, don’t we? You hate me, but you still can’t deny my charm. Bring on the future.
Love,
Sirius
Dear Lavinia,
Every so often, I tell myself to be grateful, and know that I’m one of your better-loved characters. Then I look at Rose and Severus, and am reminded of your philosophy of “hurting the ones you love.”
But the good thing is that I believe I know everything you have in store for me. And I get off relatively easily.
So I will also pass along a message from Peter, who sends his regrets that he is not able at this time to write a reply to your letter.
Love,
Remus
