Second movie finished, into the third.

And Frodo must have really been possessed to choose Gollum over Sam.

"You wish now that our places had been exchanged.  That I had died, and Boromir had lived."
"Yes.  I wish that."
"Since you are robbed of Boromir, I will do what I can in his stead."  A bow, and turn to go.  "If I should return - think better of me, Father."
"That would depend on the manner of your return."

Denethor sucks at life.

Faramir's second march out to Osgiliath - when only he returns alive - is so sad.  They're all so spirited as they march out.  And the people of Gondor, throwing flowers at their feet - it's already a funeral.

Oh, no, Pippin's singing his song...

Home is behind the world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow to the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow
Cloud and shade
All shall fade

In other news, I have begun re-reading the fourth Harry Potter book.  Read the first three chapters.

And somehow, Frodo reminds me a lot of Harry. Am I alone?
