Second rejection
Jun. 21st, 2005 03:11 pmI've gotten my second rejection, this one from The Atlantic Monthly. They decided The Kite Flyers wasn't worth three thousand dollars.
This rejection is actually in tangible form - a slip of very nice stationary. Very nice stationary. I'm going to hang it up somewhere.
Though the manuscript you sent has not found a place
with The Atlantic Monthly, we thank you for the chance
to consider it. Best of luck in placing it elsewhere.
The Editors
Will send it off again right away somewhere else. I have this huge Writer's Market 2004 book that I consulted recently and marked the ones that are possibilities.
