Ramifications, chapter eight!

Ramifications updated again.

I love the authors so much.

I also love their head author notes, which, as usual, are instructions on how to make some kind of sweet.  This time, a brownie.  And at the end of the recipe:

Devour.
Makes one large brownie.

Oh, I love Ramifications.  Severus is finally lucid again!  And I was kind of surprised by his immediate actions - they're much more reminescent of his adult character than I remember him acting before. 

And there was more love Capitialization of Phrases.  Even the first sentence:

Malfoy walked away from the fracas and located the wooden lunchboxes stacked neatly beside a haybale. He selected one from the middle as least likely to be Poisoned By Those Who Seek Our Downfall, and sought Restorative Isolation within one of the cleaner stalls.

Only bad point was the alarming number of punctuation typos.  Why?  They are too brilliant authors to have that many typos.

Also, for the first time I remember, they ended in a cliffhanger, with Potter hexing Severus!  Nooo!
