Story progress
Sep. 15th, 2004 11:53 amI. Have. Written.
Did it late last night. I've finally filled that notebook - on to the next, much better and prettier one!!! Unfortunately, I didn't have it with me, but I wanted to finish what I was doing so badly that I wrote in the margins and around on the last blank page where I had scribbled all of the known subjects and various songs worth checking out. But I can post! Hopefully I will this afternoon.
The girls are out of Dumbledore's office. Finally. There's an impromptu talk between Lily and Mary - I like it. Funny how all my impromptu scenes I like the best - that's kinda sad. Everything I plan in ahead doesn't turn out as well. Let's see, what's next? I know what I promised Sirius. But there needs to be some sort of transition...a last status report on the girls. Really, this is such a point, for the entire story and especially Rose. She's never going to be the same again, as I said in my meta. It can be compared to Gone in the Wind, when Scarlett was shot down by Ashley in the library, or when she came back to Tara during the war and threw up and collapsed in the back garden of Twelve Oaks, then made her resolution. Rose is officially disillusioned in Lily - and no, for the record, it did not happen when she found out Lily was pregnant; it happened in the scene I'm about to post, when she made her decision. This may seem strange, but it's true.
Bell. More later.
